Terms of Use — Nurdane
Effective date: September 24, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of Nurdane: Tasbih & Dhikr (the “App”), developed and published by Osman Dogan (DGN Apps). By downloading or using the App you agree to these terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA), which also applies.
1. The App
Nurdane is a free digital tesbih (dhikr counter). It contains no advertising and no in-app purchases. We may improve, change or discontinue features at any time.
2. Religious content
The Arabic texts, transliterations, meanings and references in the App are provided in good faith from widely used sources (the Qur’an and the hadith collections of al-Bukhari, Muslim and at-Tirmidhi) for personal remembrance. Transliterations are approximate. The App does not issue religious rulings; for questions of religious practice please consult a qualified scholar. Targets you set in the App are personal goals.
3. Your data
Your counts and settings are stored only on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your own backups; we cannot recover data that is deleted from your device.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the App except as permitted by law.
5. Intellectual property
The App’s design, code, graphics and sounds belong to Osman Dogan. The Arabic typeface Amiri is used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of counts or history.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change accordingly. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the new terms.
