Privacy Policy — Nurdane
Effective date: September 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Nurdane: Tasbih & Dhikr (the “App”, “we”, “us” or “our”), an iPhone app developed and published by Osman Dogan (DGN Apps), handles your information. Nurdane is private by design: it has no account, no server, no advertising and no analytics.
1. The short version
We do not collect, store, sell or share any personal data. Your counts, history and settings are saved only on your iPhone. The App does not connect to any server operated by us or by anyone else.
2. Information stored on your device
To work, the App keeps the following in its private storage on your device (inside the App and its Home Screen widget, which share an App Group container that other apps cannot access):
- Counts: the current count and target for each dhikr, and your progress in a routine.
- History: how many dhikr you counted on each day, used for the statistics, streaks and widgets.
- Your own dhikr and routines: the names, optional Arabic text, notes and targets you enter.
- Settings: bead material, theme, haptics, sound, daily goal and reminder times.
This information never leaves your device through the App. If your iPhone is backed up by Apple (iCloud or computer backup), that backup is handled by Apple under its own privacy policy.
3. Information we do not collect
Nurdane does not require an account, sign-in, email address, phone number or name. It does not collect your location, contacts, photos, health data, advertising identifiers or device identifiers. It contains no third-party SDKs, no advertising, no analytics and no crash-reporting services.
4. Reminders
If you turn on reminders, the App asks for permission to show notifications. Reminders are scheduled locally on your iPhone by iOS; no data is sent to us or to a push-notification server.
5. Backups you export
You can export a backup file (JSON) from Settings and share it using the iOS share sheet. The file goes only where you choose to send it. Restoring a backup reads the file you select on your device.
6. Children
The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
7. Deleting your data
Use Settings → Erase all data in the App, or delete the App from your iPhone. Because we hold no copy of your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the App’s release notes.
