Nurdane Support
Nurdane is a calm, ad-free tesbih (dhikr counter) for iPhone. Touch anywhere to count, feel each bead through distinct haptics, and learn the Arabic, pronunciation, meaning and source of what you recite. Nurdane is developed and published by Osman Dogan (DGN Apps). It is free, has no ads, no account and no tracking, and works fully offline.

Frequently asked questions
How do I count?
Touch anywhere on the counter screen. Each touch counts the moment your finger lands, and several fingers count separately, so fast tapping never loses a bead. The beads glide along the thread and the ring around the number fills towards your target.
I tapped by mistake. Can I take it back?
Yes. Tap the Undo button (the curved arrow, bottom left) to remove the last count. Reset (bottom right) asks for confirmation first, and your history and statistics are always kept.
What is pocket mode?
Tap the moon button. The screen dims to near-black and keeps counting wherever you touch — useful while walking, in the car or before sleep. Hold the moon for about a second to leave pocket mode.
How do the haptics work?
Each bead gives a soft double tap, every 33rd bead a firmer knock and a completed target a rising triple pulse, so you can count without looking. Choose the strength (or turn haptics off) in Settings → Feel.
How do routines work?
Open the Library → Routines. The after-prayer tasbihat (33 SubhanAllah, 33 Alhamdulillah, 33 Allahu Akbar and the tahlil) and the before-sleep tasbih (33 · 33 · 34) move to the next dhikr automatically when each target is reached. You can also create your own routine.
Can I add my own dhikr?
Yes. Library → Mine → Create your own dhikr. Give it a name, optional Arabic text and a target (or unlimited). Swipe a row to edit or delete it, and hold and drag to reorder.
How do I recite the 99 Names?
Library → Names → Recite all 99 Names. Each tap shows the next Name with its meaning.
How do I add the widget?
Touch and hold your Home Screen, tap Edit → Add Widget and search for Nurdane. The Tesbih widget has a bead you can tap to count without opening the App; the Today widget shows your daily total and goal. Both are also available on the Lock Screen.
How do I move my counts to a new iPhone?
Settings → Your data → Export backup, and save or send the file. On the new iPhone, choose Restore from backup and select that file.
How do I change the language?
Nurdane follows your iPhone language. To use a different language only for Nurdane, open Settings → Language inside the App, which takes you to the iOS setting. Available: English, Türkçe, العربية, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu, اردو, Français, Deutsch, বাংলা.
Where do the texts and meanings come from?
Each dhikr shows its source: a verse of the Qur’an or a hadith from Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim or Jami’ at-Tirmidhi. The 99 Names follow the list narrated by at-Tirmidhi (3507). Transliterations are approximate. If you notice an error, please write to us — corrections are taken very seriously.
