Terms of Use — Afterglow

These Terms of Use govern your use of Afterglow: No Contact (the “App”), developed and published by Osman Dogan (DGN Apps). By downloading or using the App you agree to these terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple EULA”). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The App

Afterglow is a self-help companion for people practicing no contact after a breakup, divorce, situationship or unhealthy relationship. It provides a day counter, a guided pause called Rescue, unsent letters, check-ins, insights and a 30-day healing path. A core set of features is free; additional features are available through Afterglow Pro.

2. Not medical or professional advice

Afterglow is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. The content is general information and self-reflection prompts; it is not a substitute for advice, diagnosis or treatment from a qualified professional. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line immediately. If a relationship is unsafe or abusive, please contact local support services.

3. Afterglow Pro and subscriptions

Afterglow Pro is offered as a yearly subscription (with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers), a monthly subscription, and a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the App before you buy and may vary by country.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; please request them at reportaproblem.apple.com.
The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment that unlocks Pro features on the Apple ID that bought it, including via Family Sharing only if Apple makes that available.

4. Your data

Your records are stored only on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for your own device backups; we cannot recover data that is deleted from your device.

5. Acceptable use

You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the App except as permitted by law.

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including missed reminders, inaccurate counts or loss of records.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change accordingly. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the new terms.
