Privacy Policy — Orbit Ink

This Privacy Policy explains how Orbit Ink (the “App”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a game developed and published by Osman Dogan, handles your information. Orbit Ink is private by design: it has no account, no server, no advertising and no analytics.

1. The Short Version

We do not collect, store, sell or share your personal data. Your scores, ink patterns and settings are saved only on your device. The App does not connect to any server operated by us. The only third party involved is Apple, which processes the optional in-app purchase.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

To work, the App keeps the following in its private storage on your device:

Scores: your best Endless score and your best score for each Daily course.
Ink patterns: the pattern of your best Daily run (used to redraw it on the home screen) and, if you own the Ink Pack, images of your last 100 finished runs in the Pattern Gallery.
Settings: your chosen ink palette, the haptics setting and whether you have already seen the first-run hint.
Play stats: the start and end time of your recent play sessions, how many runs each contained and how long runs lasted (the last 50 sessions). You can see them in Settings → Play stats.
Purchase status: a local note of whether the Ink Pack is unlocked, which the App re-checks with the App Store.

This information never leaves your device through the App and is not accessible to other apps.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

Orbit Ink does not require an account, sign-in, email address, phone number or name. It does not collect your location, contacts, photos, health data, advertising identifiers or device identifiers. It contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking SDKs and no third-party code, and it does not track you across apps or websites.

4. Sharing Your Pattern

When you tap Share, the App creates a square image of your pattern and score and opens the standard iOS share sheet. Nothing is shared unless you choose a destination yourself. Whatever you share is then handled by the app or service you choose, under its own privacy policy.

5. In-App Purchase (Ink Pack)

The Ink Pack is an optional one-time purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles payment, billing information and receipts. We do not receive your payment card details, billing address or Apple Account credentials. The App only asks the App Store whether the Ink Pack has been purchased on your Apple Account, so it can unlock it and restore it.

6. Device Backups

If you use iCloud Backup or a computer backup, Orbit Ink data may be included with your other app data according to your device settings and Apple’s privacy policy. We do not have access to your backups.

7. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, trade or share personal data with anyone. The only third party that receives any information in connection with Orbit Ink is Apple, for App Store distribution and in-app purchases, under Apple’s Privacy Policy.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data lives only on your device, so you control how long it is kept. Deleting the App removes all Orbit Ink data stored by the App on that device.

9. Children’s Privacy

Orbit Ink is suitable for all ages. Because the App does not collect personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR/UK GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA or the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK). Because Orbit Ink does not collect or process your personal data on our systems, there is no personal data held by us to access, correct or delete. If you have any question about your rights, please contact us.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated effective date. If a future version ever introduced data collection, we would update this Policy first and, where required by law, ask for your consent.
