Privacy Policy — Lastly: Last Time Tracker

Effective date: September 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Lastly: Last Time Tracker (“Lastly”, the “App”, “we”, “us” or “our”), developed and published by Osman Dogan, handles your information. Lastly is built to be private by design: your records stay on your device, there is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no Lastly server that stores your items.

1. The Short Version

We do not collect, store, sell or share your personal data. Everything you enter into Lastly is saved only on your device. We cannot see it, and we do not send it anywhere. The only third party involved is Apple, which processes in-app purchases and, if you enable it, device backups, under Apple’s own privacy policy.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

When you use Lastly, the App stores the following information locally on your device so the App can function:

Item data you create: item names, categories or templates chosen, the date something was last done, repeat intervals (days, weeks, months or years), completion history and dates, notes, and odometer readings you enter for car care.

App settings: your preferences, including notification choices, and a local record of whether Lastly Plus has been unlocked.

This data is stored in the App’s private storage on your device. It is not transmitted to us and is not accessible to other apps, except as described in the Backups and Exports sections below.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

Lastly does not require an account, sign-in, email address, phone number or name. Lastly does not collect your location, contacts, photos, health data, advertising identifiers or device identifiers. Lastly does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs or tracking pixels. Lastly does not track you across other apps or websites.

4. Notifications

If you turn on reminders, Lastly asks your device for permission to send local notifications. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely by your device’s operating system; they do not pass through any server operated by us. You can turn notifications off at any time in the App or in your device’s Settings.

5. In-App Purchases (Lastly Plus)

Lastly Plus is a one-time purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles payment, billing information and receipts. We do not receive your payment card details, billing address or Apple Account credentials. To confirm and restore your purchase, the App communicates with Apple’s App Store services; this connection is handled by Apple’s StoreKit framework and is subject to Apple’s privacy policy. Apple may provide the developer with limited, non-identifying transaction information (such as a transaction identifier and purchase status) for the purpose of validating purchases.

6. Device Backups

If you use iCloud Backup or a computer backup of your device, your Lastly data may be included in that backup along with your other app data. Backups are created, encrypted and stored by Apple or on your computer according to your device settings and Apple’s privacy policy. We do not have access to your backups. You can exclude Lastly from backups through your device settings.

7. Exports

Lastly Plus lets you export your data as a JSON file. Exports are created on your device only when you choose to create them, and you decide where they go (for example, saving to Files, sending via AirDrop, or sharing with another app). Once you share an export, its handling is governed by the privacy practices of the destination you chose. Exported files may contain everything you entered into the App, so treat them as you would any personal file.

8. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, trade or share your personal data with anyone. The only third party that receives any information in connection with Lastly is Apple, and only for the purposes of App Store distribution, in-app purchases, local notifications and device backups as described above. Apple’s privacy policy is available at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Because your data lives only on your device, you control how long it is kept. You can delete individual items or history entries within the App at any time. Deleting the App from your device removes all Lastly data stored by the App on that device. Copies that exist in device backups or in exports you created are outside the App and must be deleted separately by you. We have no copy of your data and therefore cannot delete it on your behalf, nor can we recover it if it is lost.

10. Security

Your data is protected by the security features of your device and operating system, including the App’s private sandboxed storage and device encryption when a passcode is set. Because no data is transmitted to us, there is no server-side data for us to protect or that could be exposed in a breach on our side. We recommend keeping your device updated and protected with a passcode or biometric lock.

11. Children’s Privacy

Lastly is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone. Since the App does not collect data, no information about children is transmitted to us. If you are a parent or guardian and have concerns, you can remove the App from the child’s device, which deletes all locally stored Lastly data.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), or the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), including rights to access, correct, delete, export or restrict the processing of your personal data.

Because Lastly does not collect or process your personal data on our systems, we hold no personal data about you to which these rights could be applied. You can exercise access, correction, export and deletion directly within the App on your device. If you believe we do hold personal data about you, or if you have any privacy question, please contact us using the details below and we will respond promptly.

We do not sell personal information and have not sold personal information in the preceding 12 months. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

13. International Users

Lastly can be used anywhere the App Store is available. Since your data stays on your device and is not transferred to us, there is no cross-border transfer of your personal data by us. Data handled by Apple (purchases, backups) is subject to Apple’s own international transfer practices.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if we add new features. Any changes will be reflected by an updated effective date, and material changes will be communicated within the App or on the App’s listing. If a future version of Lastly ever introduced data collection, we would update this Policy first and, where required by law, ask for your consent.
